All internal doors were individually handcrafted locally.

Step outside to the delightful seating area

On exiting from the porch, locally sourced Cornish slate chippings provide the perfect ground cover, complimenting the cottage’s galvanised Lindab guttering and traditional Cornish Rag Slate roof.

To the left, a spacious, South facing, patio area overlooks the front lawn and features a hand built Cornish dry-stone spar wall. To the right of the porch is a delightful seating area, perfect for barbeques and alfresco dining. There are also plenty of other outside spaces for further seating areas if necessary.

From here the slate pathway extends to the side garden offering a lovely sunny aspect with countryside views and a high degree of privacy. A couple of steps lead up to the lawn with shrubs and flowers to the borders making this an ideal spot to relax. This garden is partially enclosed by a block-built and rendered wall, the base of which, on the roadside, has been hand-built in Cornish spar stone. There is gated access to the rear of the cottage and also to the rear of the out-building.

The garden is also accessible from the kitchen/breakfast/dining room via the French doors and the stable door from the utility room.

Climb the few granite steps, flanked either side by pretty Cornish spar-stone walls at the front of the cottage and you arrive at the lawned frontage featuring a small tree.

Beyond this the lawned garden extends to the far right, where it forms one of the three village greens within Trelash. Privately owned by the vendor, local residents are entitled to access this area and occasionally you may see a cyclist stop for a short break.

A large block-built workshop sits to the left of the steps, offering power, lighting and water providing an ideal place in which to potter and store your tools, garden furniture, bikes, surfing boards and so much more, or alternatively offers the potential for use as a summerhouse or a studio/office.

To the front of the workshop and cottage is a stone-chip driveway providing off road parking for three-four vehicles, although this could be extended if required. The oil tank is discretely located to the side of the workshop within the parking area.

Please note: the triangular lawned area to the right of the cottage belongs to this property, however, this is classed as part of the village green so local residents have the right to use this, though seldom do. The North Cornwall cycle trail passes through Trelash so the odd cyclist may stop to rest his weary limbs here.
