A little bit more about the location of Penzance

The village of Paul is within walking distance across the fields and one of the areas most picturesque villages and offers a public house and church where as the neighbouring village of Newlyn is famous for its school of painters lead by Stanhope-Forbes and Walter Langley in the late 1800’s and its long association with the fishing industry. Mousehole is a beautiful harbourside village, with meandering narrow streets leading out to the waterfront and many traditional fisherman’s cottages add to the general character of this area.

Just a 2 mile drive leads you to the outskirts of the popular and picturesque villages of Newlyn and Mousehole, musts for places to visit.
